Suzanne Butzow:
Suzanne is a retired color consultant for a remodeling firm. Her initial contact with Roxie Karelis was in 2007, when she and her partner decided to donate their renovated farmhouse and ten acres to the Refuge Network for a domestic abuse shelter.
Suzanne continues to support Black Dog Hill Shelter through Pajama Pride, an organization that provides welcome bags to incoming residents. She is also committed to funding the ongoing stewardship of the shelter facility. Suzanne enjoys her time with her son and daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and three generations of nieces and nephews. One of her hobbies is designing and crocheting popcorn-stitch blankets with specific themes. She is honored to be a part of Roxie’s Hope, which will continue this remarkable woman’s community-service legacy.
